A song for Cross Border Summit
We wanted a song that could stay with CBS from one edition to the next. This year's theme is Fellowship, but the anthem is for the wider Cross Border Summit community.
The brief was to make something people could remember and sing along with, with a repeating part that sticks. Alvin worked through different styles and several versions of the video as we narrowed it down. The emotional feel of this one was what made it the choice.
We also wanted the video to feel like a music video, with CBS branding woven into it. Something you can enjoy watching and share with someone who has never been to the event.
Why Lines on a Map fits CBS
Cross-border business puts us in contact with people in different countries every day. A summit gives us a chance to sit down together, ask questions, and get to know the people behind those businesses.
That is why Lines on a Map feels like a fitting name for the CBS anthem. The borders are part of our work; the connections across them are what bring this community together.
If you've been to CBS before, send the video to someone you met there. If this will be your first year, have a listen before we meet in Chiang Mai.
Join us in Chiang Mai
Cross Border Summit 2026 runs November 3–5 at Chiang Mai Orchid Hotel in Chiang Mai, Thailand. November 3 is the VIP mastermind; November 4–5 are the core conference days.
This year's Fellowship edition brings together cross-border ecommerce founders, sellers, operators, and service providers. We're looking forward to sharing the song in the room.
